GOOSEBUMP is committed to making the site usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the customer-facing pages.
What we do
- Semantic HTML elements (
<button>,<nav>,<main>) - Visible focus states on every interactive element
- Sufficient contrast on body text (4.5:1 minimum)
- Alt text on every product image
- Keyboard-navigable cart, checkout and forms
- Form fields with explicit
<label>association - No motion-sensitive animation; we honour
prefers-reduced-motion
What we know we still need to improve
- More descriptive alt text on lifestyle photography
- A skip-to-main-content link on every route
- Larger tap targets on the mobile size selector
